In 2000, Dr. Badrieh Mahnaz Edalatpour opened her practice, Children’s Dental Care, which specializes in children’s dental care in Stoneham, MA — many of her young patients like to call her “Dr. B”. She is a resident of Stoneham and active in the community including being a member of the organizing committee for the Stoneham Health and Wellness Expo.

Dr. Edalatpour’s clinic provides a fun environment for young children and is designed to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for her young patients as they learn about the importance of dental care. Dr. B’s clinic provides dental care for children from all different countries as well as those with special needs.

Dr. B’s Education

Dr. Edalatpour studied at Shiraz University Dental School in Iran and graduated in 1991 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery. She furthered her studies by enrolling at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine where she graduated with a degree in Pediatric Dentistry in 1997 and from the Advance Standing Program in 1999. She also completed Massachusetts Dental Society’s Leadership Institute Program in 2011 and received an MBA from Bentley University in 2014. She also attended the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey, and graduated in 1987 with a degree in Chemical Engineering.

Dr. B’s Community

Dr. Edalatpour has volunteered her time to numerous community and international projects. In 2002 and 2017 she traveled to the Dominican Republic where she volunteered her services to hundreds of patients. She also traveled to Haiti in 2017 to volunteer with Dentists for Humanity. Along with 30 others dental professionals, Children’s Dental Care has participated in the Boston Jimmy Fund Walk. Since 2012, they have raised more than $700,000 to help fund cancer research.

She served as a Chair for the East Middlesex district of MDS until June of 2014. She also served as a Guest Board Member of Massachusetts Dental Society offering input on a wide range of issues relating to MDS and the dental profession. She is an active member of other professional organizations, such as American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Massachusetts Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Massachusetts Hispanic Dental Association, Iranian American Medical Association, and she has led the Iranian American Dentists Network in Massachusetts (IADN) since 2011.

Dr. Edalatpour speaks fluent Turkish, Persian, and English and is also learning Portuguese. She is an avid traveler, having visited more than 30 different countries, including Brazil. Traveling is her favorite hobby along with yoga, martial arts and table tennis.
